A little piece of my story..

Does writing an "about me" give anyone else anxiety? Or is it just me? Here's my go at it.

Where to start? I am a mother of 3. The 4 of us live in a cute little town north of New Orleans. Contrary to most photographers I fell into this industry in a bit of an odd way. It didn't start with a crazy dying passion and no I didn't save up my childhood allowance to buy my first camera at 14. I got my first camera when my twin daughters were born. They change so much at that age! I wanted to be able to capture our every day in the most beautiful way. Completely self-taught and no idea what I was doing. A few years later I got the opportunity to train with a local photographer who became one of my dearest friends. Shortly after that my life changed in a major way and I went from a stay at home mom to a single mother that needed to provide. Photography became the solution. Photography has allowed me to drop my kids off and pick them up (most days at least.) It has allowed me to navigate the new life of single parenting without missing too much with my kiddos and of course continue to travel which is near and dear to my heart. Along the way I fell in love with photography and all of the possibilities that come with it. I love getting to be with you on one life's biggest moment. I also love getting to be creative by bringing visions to life and capturing them in a beautiful way.

I will forever be grateful of the chance I was given. My love for capturing memories and creating the coolest content started to grow immeasurably. I am so grateful for photography and the amazing people it has introduced me to.

I love connecting with each one of you as much as I love having you in front of my lens. I am so happy you are here and THANK YOU for being here.
